ThinkifyEdu is built to support students with responsible, ethical AI assistance. Our tools are designed to help users brainstorm ideas, improve clarity, organize research, convert files, and learn more effectively. ThinkifyEdu is not a replacement for original student work, professional judgment, institutional guidelines, or academic integrity rules.
Our Responsible AI principles
- Human-first learning: AI is a learning assistant. You remain responsible for understanding and submitting your work.
- Transparency: AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased. Always verify facts and citations.
- Academic integrity: Do not use ThinkifyEdu to cheat, impersonate, plagiarize, or violate school policies.
- Safety: We may restrict prompts, uploads, or features that appear harmful, illegal, or abusive.
- Privacy-minded: Avoid sharing sensitive personal information. We aim to minimize unnecessary data exposure.
- Continuous improvement: We monitor for misuse and improve reliability, security, and quality over time.
Accuracy & user responsibility: AI systems can generate incorrect, misleading, or biased outputs. For that reason, ThinkifyEdu encourages all users to fact-check, review citations, and rewrite content in their own voice. You remain fully responsible for any content you submit or publish. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be accepted by any institution, instructor, or third party.
Prohibited misuse: ThinkifyEdu discourages and prohibits using our tools to facilitate academic misconduct, impersonation, plagiarism, or other violations of institutional policy. We may implement safeguards such as rate limits, prompt restrictions, and monitoring for suspicious activity. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate our policies or create risk to users, the platform, or third parties.
Privacy & data minimization: Responsible AI includes respecting privacy and minimizing data exposure. Users should avoid submitting sensitive personal information, confidential records, or high-risk data unless necessary. We strive to limit retention of uploaded files and tool inputs to what is needed to provide services, maintain security, and improve reliability.
